The price for the interpreting or a translating job generally depends on the following factors:

1. Language

Some languages are more rare than others.Besides, it is easier to interpret between the languages that belong to the same language family (for example, English and French are both Romance languages).

     2.   Technicality

Technical nature of the interpreting or translating asignment is more challenging than interpreting the every-day language.

     3.    Simulteneous vs. Consecutive

Simultaneous interpreting is interpreting a language as it is spoken and requires a more sophisticated set of skills compared to consecutive interpreting, when the interpretation takes place after the sentence is spoken.

     4.    Date

It is generally better to request an interpreter in advance. However, if you have an emergency appointment, we will still find an interpreter for you.

     5.    Purpose

Translating the documents for publication, for example, involves more time and the stylization of the text. In contrast, translating just to understand the meaning of the document is more robust and takes less time.

General terms:

• Interpreting jobs are generally billed on an hourly basis, and translations - on a per-word basis.
• There is one hour minimum charged for all interpreting jobs. Additional time is billed in 15-minute increments.
• Requests placed within less than three business days are considered as rush and will be charged an additional fee that equals an hour of interpreting.
